Respite care

A reliable break for family carers — from a few hours to a couple of weeks — with experienced carers stepping in so you can rest, knowing your loved one is in safe hands.

What respite care involves

A proper break, with total peace of mind

Caring for someone you love is a labour of love — but everyone needs a break. Respite care steps in for a few hours, a day, or a couple of weeks, so you can rest, recharge, or simply get things done.

We take the time to learn your loved one’s routine before you go, so the care feels seamless and familiar. You come back refreshed; they’ve been in safe, experienced hands the whole time.

Questions

The things families usually ask

Anything we haven’t covered, just call — we would rather talk it through than have you guess.

Can respite be just a few hours?

Yes — from a short break to a couple of weeks, one-off or on a regular schedule.

Will you learn Mum’s routine before I go?

Always — we spend time beforehand so the care feels familiar and nothing is missed.

Can you cover overnight or live-in respite?

Yes — waking nights, sleep-in nights or full round-the-clock cover while you’re away.

How much notice do you need?

As much as possible helps, but we’ll always do our best to help at short notice too.
